Jake works with mortgage lenders, banks, credit unions, and fintechs helping them navigate both federal and state compliance requirements. He has regularly counselled clients on issues involving the Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA), TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures Rule (TRID), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and Unfair, Deceptive, Acts or Practices/Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAP/UDAAP), among other federal and state consumer finance regulations.
