Biography
Chris advises on transactional and corporate matters for a wide range of bank and non-bank financial services clients, including fintechs and mortgage companies. His experience includes a wide variety of transactions, including bank partnership, marketplace lending, and BaaS agreements; critical vendor agreements; M&A and securities transactions; loan purchase and servicing agreements; joint venture agreements (including RESPA-compliant joint ventures); merchant cash advances; credit agreements; and CRA qualified investments (including EQ2s). Chris also advises on regulatory matters, including third party vendor management requirements, laws applicable to making, brokering, and servicing commercial and consumer loans and retail installment sales contracts, and money transmission and payments laws.
