Shelby Schwartz is an Associate at Mitchell Sandler LLC.
Prior to joining the firm, Shelby worked as the Compliance Program Manager for Promontory Financial Group, an IBM company, where she supported the Chief Compliance Officer in the development and implementation of a global compliance program that addressed varied risks, including those related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, information security and data privacy regulations, and corporate governance issues. Her work included leading the Firm’s ethics and compliance training programs, developing compliance policies and procedures, investigating complaints, overseeing vendor management, and other due diligence matters.
Prior to that, Shelby was an associate at Littler Mendelson PC where she handled both advisory and litigation matters for a wide variety of corporations.
Shelby clerked for the Honorable Harvey Bartle III in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and received her J.D. from Columbia Law School and her B.A. from University of Chicago.
