Pierce Babirak in an Associate at Mitchell Sandler LLC. His practice centers around the intersection of law, finance, technology, and regulation. He advises clients on a wide range of matters, including venture financings, investment management, transactions, fund formation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. As the son of small business owners, Pierce has a deep passion for supporting entrepreneurs and founders to help build and grow their companies.
Prior to joining the firm, Pierce clerked for the Honorable Alice M. Batchelder on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Before practicing law, he spent five years in the education field as a policy consultant on Capitol Hill, a Teach for America corps member, and the chief of staff for a prominent national education non-profit.
Pierce received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, his M.B.A from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, his M.S.E.d. from the University of Pennsylvania, and his B.A. from Grove City College. Originally from Maine, Pierce now resides in Virginia.
